Feb. 10

I just came back from my math competition and I did ok.
I finished 2nd individual, 2nd in the countdown round(with buzzers) and my team finished 1st.
I also did an interview with a local news channel about the competition. To be honest, I was more scared of being on TV than the competition itself.

My sister's getting kind of annoying because she's constantly poking me. You know how I said in my first post that she was weird? She's getting weirder.

You know, it annoys me having parents who speak Arabic because they always talk in Arabic and I can't understand it, so I'm always worried they're saying stuff like "Michael disappoints me because of this or that" or something. I want to learn it, but I can't memorize something like a language. There's nothing to understand, just "cucumber=chyara" and stuff like that.

First Post

I was thinking, in a year, my school is gonna have its science fair. Me and my friend want to do sumthing involving thermite. We thought of maybe doing different ratios of aluminum powder to iron oxide, but if you have other ideas, can you post them as a comment?

That's in a year though. In 1 day, I have a math competition. I'm not worried about that, we've been preparing for it for months now.

Oh, and thanks to the blog How To Do Stuff for "How to make a wallet out of playing cards." It put all those old Yu-Gi-Oh cards to good use.

My sister's reading another one of her little stories that she writes. Instead of playing a computer game or watching TV or even reading, she writes short stories. Kind of weird, but at least she doesn't try to read them to me.
